Use of exit statement in C

Exit : Exit statement is used when you need to exit the program if certain condition is satisfied, can placed anywhere as statements inside or outside loop.


/* Exit the program in 7th loop */
#include<stdio.h>
int main()
{
    int i,num;
    printf("\n Enter the number:");
    scanf("%d",&num);
    for(i=1;i<=num;i++)
    {
        printf(" %d ",i);
        if(i==7)
        {
            exit(0);
        }
    }
    return 0;   
}

I have used Dev CPP to compile this program.
If you are using Turbo C++ IDE, then use conio.h in link section after stdio.h
and use getch(); to hold the output screen, just before the end of main function.
